L. Mae Stokes

L. Mae Stokes, 64, of Strasburg,
died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at
her home.

Mrs. Stokes was born June 11,
1943, in Wheatfield, the daughter
of Fitzhugh Lee and Elizabeth Kathleen
Lindamood Pingley.

She married Ray M. Stokes on April
6, 1964, in Shenandoah County.

Surviving with her husband is a
daughter, Mary Elizabeth Stokes
Feathers of Strasburg; a son, Jeffrey
Allen Stokes of Strasburg; a sister,
Lola Belle McDonald of Strasburg; and
three grandchildren.

A private service is planned.
