Arthur Jenkins
Dies In Strasburg

Arthur Jenkins died at 1 o'clock
this morning at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. J. L. Whittington,
on A street, Strasburg, following
a long period of ill health.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Oma Mumaw Jenkins, two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Whittington, and Mrs.
Emma Hausenfluck, Boyce, Va.,
and one son, Carson Jenkins, Stras-
burg. A number of grandchil-
dren also survive.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock
from the Whittington home follow-
ed by services at 10:30 o'clock
from the Walnut Springs Christian
Church.

Mrs. Oma Jenkins
Dies At Capon Road
----------
Mrs. Oma Margaret Jenkins,
aged 83, widow of Arthur Jenkins
died Tuesday, September 18, 1951,
at 10:45 p. m. in the home of
her daughter, Mrs. James Whit-
tington at Capon Road.
Mrs. Jenkins had been ill for
quite some time.
She was born in Shenandoah
County, December 23, 1867, a
daughter of the late John and
Amelia Ritenour Mumaw.
She was a member of the Wal-
nut Springs Christian Church.
Her husband preceded her in death
a number of years ago.
Survivors are two daughters and
a son: Mrs. Jessie Whittington,
Capon Road; Mrs. Charles Haus-
enfluck, White Post and Carson
Jenkins of Bentonville also twenty
grand children and two great
grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not
been completed.
